Laryngeal
Framework Surgery, is surgery on the larynx which houses the vocal folds. This
is usually performed when there is a vocal fold paralysis or partial paralysis
in order to move the paralyzed vocal fold closer to the functioning one in order
to achieve improved vocal fold closure for voice and swallowing.
